Default Wheel spacers

Any comments about using wheel spacers with these trucks? (96 5.2 4x4 sport). I'm considering the $90 ones on amazon either 1" or 2". I've got 31x10.5x15 ATs right now and I have the stock sport fender flares for legal purposes in CT. Good idea or not worth the trouble? Thanks

I've never liked them after they broke the wheel studs on one of my cars I ran them on.

dont go cheap and torque the bolts to spec. i ran 6x4.5 to 6x5.5 adapters on my 93 mud truck and i torqued them down to 120 ft lbs and just rechecked them every 100 - 200 miles. i never had a problem other than ball joints

I ran 1.5 inch spacers big bulky heavy as can be paid just over 200 (on sale on amazon) for all 4 on my 92 LE and I ran 33 X14.5 TSL Boggers and beat it to hell and back .. never a problem over the course of a year, just had to remember to torque after a few days then the tires again after a few more days since tires get removed :O other then that honestly its no different then higher offset rims ..

but don't cheap out, get a good quality brand , worth it....
