Post Post-Rebuild Help

So I haven't posted for about a year now. I've been rebuilding my 93 V6 engine. I also converted it from auto to manual. One problem, it won't start. When I turn the key, the park and abs light turn on, then turn back off after a few seconds. No check engine light either.

I've grounded the P/N wire, and every plug has it's mate except for the old OD/LU 3 slot plug. Also because the crank position sensor didn't match up, I had to splice them together. I've identified the ground wire, and even tried both combinations of the other 2/3.

I'm able to short the starter relay, and it does turn the flywheel. So that's working, but I have no clue about why it wont turn with the key. I'll be reading service manuals to find a solution in the meantime.
Thanks in advance!

I haven't turned the distributor till I heard a 'click' with the key turned, but I don't think that would effect anything.

Does it crank? No, sound like neutral safety switch isnt working.

Does it crank? Yes, sounds like you didnt switch the crank sensor from the auto.

My best guess with the limited info given.

Doesn't crank, neutral switch is grounded to frame.

Which computer are you using? Auto or stick?

It's an auto. I think I figured it out. I went out earlier and checked to see if it was throwing codes ( even though the check engine light wasn't coming on. ). It threw a 37, "Torque converter clutch solenoid CKT or park/neutral switch failure". I don't think I properly grounded the P/N wire, I'll ground it properly tomorrow.

nope. that code 37 is a false code, guaranteed will NOT I repeat will NOT have anything to do with your no start.
and yes the crank sensor connector is a mirror image of each other between auto and stick. I grounded my neutral switch wire (middle wire of the 3, outer 2 are for the b/u lights) to the firewall.
