Default No more cab, plus a nice surprise!

after two days its off and gone. Also found out (which I had a good hint when I got it due to things in the glove box) that the transmission has been rebuilt/replaced with a unit from man trans in Tallahassee florida. Score!!

Gotta love country living where the neighbor's don't give a crap you have a partially dismantled truck in your front yard. I can see across the street has a similar situation with a variety of vehicles

well depending on how bad it is inside.... I have done a couple that just needed the basic kit (no chipped teeth, all the shafts within were OK etc) and it was pretty cheap for the kit.
now like an auto trans, to HAVE one rebuilt definitely ISN"T cheap.

country living? Nope. Live in a small city. Even if they did care, not like they could do anything about it lol.

Yep. I don't have a garage or a paved place to work on my cars, but the upside is that I live on a road that doesn't even exist according to Google Maps, so needless to say we could have a pile of junk thirty feet high and no one would give two ****s.

Good find Toby sound like you got a good deal.

I personally think it was a steal. Lol. All told, I figure I'm somewhere between 6 and 1200 ahead with this. I just need a rear drive shaft now and ive got all I need for my 5 speed swap.

Shes going to be one bad female dog in heat after this. Least that's how I feel about it.

ya between the nv being lighter the the 46re and tranfering power a lot better plus another gear its bound to be a fun combo. Especially when I get a 5.9 for it next year.

Unfortunately, I'm probably going to reuse whatever clutch is in it just so I can get the swap done. Unless things look really hairy. Then tax time go with a centerforce unit, and might go with a dual disc set up. Tire shops will know me by name. Haha.
