Lift blocks
I was thinking about putting some 1 or 2 inch lift blocks on my truck to give it some more hieght is there actually a set of these somewhere? Or would I need to fabricate them? What have you guys all done?
If 2WD, consider picking up a 4WD rear axle. That will lift the rear a couple of inches all by itself.
(Explaination: 2WD are axle over spring; 4WD are spring over axle. You put blocks into a 2WD, it lowers the rear.)
For the front - can't use blocks, it's either torsion rod (4WD) or coil spring (2WD). If 4WD, you can crank the keys up some to lift the front.
(Note: Be aware that lifting the front won't change the total tire travel; crank enough, and you'll sit on the suspension snubbers if it still has them. Makes for a VERY rough ride ... )

They will only lift in the back if you're 4WD; given that, then you can use generic lift blocks, which are available all over the place.

Didnt you put durango v8 bars under the front?
This is just my opinion, but the v8 engine should smooth out the ride some, (additional weight) That being said, I would crank up the front bars, (count the turns) and see how stiff it is. If you dont like it, let it back down the same amount of turns.
not at all. I have mine cranked a GOOD bit. I have 265/70/16 tires and only rub a VERY small amount on full lock on Wired bumps. Ride isn't rough at all imo and this is with buckshot tires which aren't known for having a good ride. I have Monroe coil over shocks in the back and Monroe sensa tracks in the front. I actually think my trucks rides better then some cars I've had. Especially considering it weights about 4800lbs and all the above factors. My truck should ride like crap, but it doesn't.
