Pcm death can't find new one help plz
Hey guys I'm chalking it up that I have a bad pcm but I can't seem to find a Mopar performance one for my 94 318 Dak maunual 4x4 I was running an automatic before but all I can find now is the 92 and 93 mp pcm. This to my knowledge should work just fine having some reasueance would be nice. Or any better ideas would be appreciated thx.
Actually, no, they changed the flow rate, according to one of the better sources on the Internet.
Checking replacements at fiveomotorsports.com ... 92/93 Dakotas got 19lbs@43psi, 94 got 24lbs @ 43.5psi (no, .5 PSI doesn't give you 5 more pounds of fuel ... )

Have you considered contacting one of the on line tuners, and see if they could either program a computer that you would supply or maybe they could supply the computer as well. I feel sure they could write a tune much like the factory performance tune....
not on a pre 96 they can't do $#!T with OBD I, at the tuners.
I dont doubt that you are correct, but I am surprised no one has hacked the program and can tune it.
Nobody wants to hear this, but dodge, and especially the magnum engines have little aftermarket support, compared to ford or chevy. And that is due to the fact that there are so few of us, again, compared to ford and chevy fans, that the volume is not there to develop aftermarket parts for us.
