Get rid of the EGR and try a bigger throttle body. Mopar performance computer would run anywhere from 250 to 300 bucks.

The EGR valve is located on the back left corner of your intake manifold. Its purpose is to recirculate exhaust gas back into the intake when you get up to cruising speed to help with emissions. Its held on with two 10mm (3/8) bolts. There is also a black solenoid hooked to the valve via vacume hoses. Leave the solenoid plugged up. Block off the vacume line that would have gone to the solenoid from the intake. Get rid of the valve. Either make or buy a block off plate to bolt back over the hole in the intake. You will need shorter bolts to bolt on a plate because the valve base is thicker.

DEPENDING on how many miles you have on the truck, this may be pointless, because if you have many miles then the passages in which the air flows in the intake itself are probably clogged. Check it out first.

Autolite 3923 sparkplugs, 180 degree thermostat, ported TB - you can do it yourself if you have a dremel, it just takes a while to do. Do you have a V8 or V6?

Since you have a 6, consider picking up a stock V8 TB at a junkyard. You will need the TB and new throttle cables, as I think they are different. However, you will get an instant increase. The stock V6 TB is about 46mm, the V8 is 50mm that necks down to 48mm. You don't want to put too much air into a V6, so a ported V8 may not be good for you. A stock one, OTOH, is a drop in mod, and cheap. Check you local pick-n-pull junkyard for Dodge trucks with a V8, or run a search on www.car-part.com. If you can't find the cables at a junkyard you will need to order them from a dealer.
