Default No Overdrive

So a couple months ago, my overdrive decided not to work, I could not seemed to get it to work with its original control so I rewired the control from a switch off of the battery so the pcm is in no control.
- Overdrive control solenoid wire leading to the pcm was spliced with a wire and switch in the cab and went to a ground.
It seemed to have worked perfecting for roughly a month or so. Then suddenly it decided not to work anymore. I thought it was the switch and swapped it with another. Unfortunately it did not help. Now I am currently confused what could be the issue and how I can fix this situation.

The transmission is a 46rh.

Bad OD solenoid in the valve body.

Or missing the 12v on the center pin. Does the lockup solenoid work?
