conversion u-joints
This is a bit of a odd question, but I am looking for a conversion u-joint to adapt the 87 dodge driveshaft to a 2000 ford explorer 8.8 rear end.
Looking at spicer, the dakota is a 5-789x this uses inside snap rings, cap dia of 1.078 and 2.125 width between snap rings.
The ford is a 5-1330x outside snap rings cap dia of 1.062 and measures 3.625 from snap ring to snap ring.
I ordered a 5-134x and it was correct on the ford end, but did not have inside snap rings on the short side, (dodge end ) and I believe the cap is slightly different size.
Anybody who could help me find the correct joint, well I would appreciate it!!

I wanted to use full Spicer on my truck too but had to go with Neapco for a couple :/ . Nothing clearly wrong with them, but they don't have the Spicer name haha.

Tbugden, thanks for your help.
I had found the following part numbers .
Naepco is actually 2-0599
precision 457C
spicer 5-599x
Funny thing is, Im trying to use this joint to tie my driveshaft to a ford 8.8 rear. And actually this is the factory joint for a 91-93 dakota with an alum. driveshaft.
Naepco makes the same joint, 20599bf which I believe has the coating to keep from corroding the alum. driveshaft. Anyways its on clearance at rock auto for $3.04 shipping is 6.89 but still, thats cheap!!
Thanks again
