I got a PM of that nature a few months back. After giving them a lot of information, they simply stopped responding..... (and I have been watching my credit report carefully as well.....)
The products linked to may be legit, but, is the person linking you to them legit? I'm not going to hold my breath...... and I will ban them as soon as they become apparent.
