I got a fixit ticket for right brake light stuck on at night. With the headlights on when I step on the brake the right brake light is bright and the left is dim. Now with the headlights off smwhen I step on the brakes the left one gets bright and the right one is dim. What could b the problem

 

Bad bulbs, bad ground, corrosion in the rear wiring harness, (especially if you also have a trailer harness.) etc.

 

Mabe the bulbs but i think its something else cuz the reverse lights arnt working either and the bulbs look good.

 

Looks don't count.

But yes, I'd be checking the grounds. And the bulbs.

Incandescents are cheap enough I'd just buy a couple of sets and swap them all.
