Default Please help me to figure out what's wrong with my 1994 Dodge Dakota Sport 3.9 V6 5 sp

I have a 1994 Dodge Dakota Sport 3.9 V6 5 speed. My problem is I drive 28 miles to work in about 8 miles shy from getting to work, my truck just started bucking and cutting out and backfiring and then after 5 6 miles it starts running fine again about 5 months ago I had electrical short in my truck. It started with my lighter then it went to my stereo, then from there it went into my dome light it went out so I have nowhere my dome light. Now all those things that shorted out and came back on by themselves would just cause my problem please help me out sincerely stressed out

Mine did that and it was either the ignition switch or the coil...did them both at the same time. Are the dash lights still on when it stalls?

It's probably your distributor ignition pickup.
which is located under your rotor.
It has a cable attached to it.
