On my 1988, the pipe itself started distorting; so the muffler shop put in a new bung for the new O2 sensor, and I just clipped the wires off the old one.
IDK if this could work on an O2 sensor but in general if you have Oxy/Acetylene setup you can heat up the heads of stuck bolts to cherry red and that usually loosens them. Propane usually won;t work because it doesn't concentrate heat in one spot enough it ends up heating everything equally which is pointless since everything will expand/contract the same.
yeah Ive had to use a torch on O2s before..... problem being, where it is at on those trucks, not a lot of room for a torch head or a worker's hands around the sensor on those years.
