So the diagnisis from the dealership is that the PCM is bad and causing the IAC to not work properly and causing the #6 injector to run wide open.

so it looks like ill be looking for a new PCM.

I tried to but surprisingly here in the domestic car haven there were no yards here that had any, but I did find one that would let me return it if it did not fix the problem..

That's good. There's a couple yards around me that will do that but not very many

Hey All sorry for the long lapse in replies so here is the update..... It's still the same! Since last time I have replaced injector 6 with a new one and have replaced 4 of the injector pigtails that had 8 inches of leads and cut out about 8 inches of the factory injector wire and soldered in the new ones on cylinders 2,6 &8 as well as cylinder 1 and put die electric grease on all of the contacts.

I have also replaced the PCM unit with a rebuilt one so now my IAT sensor works well and I currently have no engine light on anymore and the light does indeed still work.

And I am still getting really bad misfires on #6 & #8 cylinder but #6 being far the worst.

New wires
ignition coil
plugs
cap
rotor
timing chain & sprockets
Most all of the sensors
#6 injector
4 new injector pigtails
Hughs Plenum update

So if anyone had any more good advice I would be interested and thankful to hear it.

Compression and leakdown test on ALL cylinders.

Put new plugs in, run them about 750 to 1000 miles, and pull them to read them. Be SURE to mark which plug is to which cylinder as you pull them! (Masking tape with the numbers 1 to 8 written on them will do the job good enough.)
