The best way to tell is to crawl underneath and measure it.

Second best is to carry a 2 to 5 gallon gas can in the truck, run it until it quits, and then put the gas in the can in the tank, then go fill it up. If you put a total of 16 or so gallons (can plus fill up), it's 15. If you're over 22 gallons, it's 22 gallon.

As to the clutch pedal causing the dome light to come on - probably the grounding point under the dash for the headlight switch circuit is flaky, and needs to be redone. Was it turned on at the headlight switch or not? If not, then it could be the flexure caused by pressing the clutch caused the door switch to work better. I'd suggest grabbing the FSM from the sticky in this forum and following the wiring for the dome light.

Also, it has some instructions on how to troubleshoot a failed fuel gauge; however, due to age, I'd still consider doing the fuel hat assembly including the sending unit. Just remember, there's good stuff and crap stuff; buy the good stuff, but search for a good price on it

The 15 gallon is about cubic; the 22 gallon is longer. You can measure the outside and figuring that a gallon is about .13 cubic foot, see how many cubic feet the tank you have is outside (hint: If it's about 3 cubic feet, it's 22 gallons; 15 won't be a lot over 2).

And fuel hat assembly for a 1995 4-banger - Well, I'd start at https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...assembly,10147 and stick with Denso, Delphi, or Bosch from there. You can also take the part numbers given and Google them.

The pump can be had by itself, but won't include the sending unit.

There is a factory service manual for the 95 on the FAQ page.

This.

But to add ... the fuel pump relay is for 3.9 and 5.2 motors, not the 2.5 .

This comes obvious once you check the FSM; which I also downloaded for longterm references.

You read the titles of the messages above this one when you back up to the forum message listing.

There's one that says " **FAQ -----General Info, Common problems, Factory Service Manuals** " and one that says " **FAQ2 ------Lift kits, Performance, Engine Swaps, Modiftcation Ideas** " in the messages stuck to the top of the list. As you can guess, you want the first one, which says "Factory Service Manuals". It's about 2/3 or 3/4 of the way down, but the whole article is somewhat interesting to read.

That will take you to a Google Docs link, which will allow you to download the manual as a ZIP file. Expand it out (Windows will do it natively, as a folder), then open the PDF and cruise down to section 8W.
