Default Hood latch

I have a 94 and the hood latch wont release the hood to get it open. how do I work around and get it open?
I'm sure this has happened to someone.
any help? thanks

none of those are even close. I cant get to latch because of front hood air deflector cant get to it from bottom because of skid plates and covers.
this is a 94 4x4 with air cond, manual trans. the front has the air cond cooler in front of radiator.

any help? YT don't help at all

At a guess I'd say remove the skid plate and covers. You do actually have to get to the latch to get it open. If you can grab the cable from the inside of the cab with a vise grip try that.

See if you can grab the cable that the little handle pulls on, and pull it further. The cable stretches, and likely just isn't pulling far enough to get it to release.

got it fixed with a lot of penetrating oil
