Default 1990 Dodge Dakota Trans Fluid type and Loud trans noise

I have a 1990 dodge Dakota I purchased for my son for his commute between his community college and home it is a 5speed(aluminum) with the v6. I have two questions.
1.) What type of transmission fluid does it take? I don't have manual or I would have consulted it. ATF-4, 10-30w and gear oil have all been stated as the fluid???
2.) Very loud bearing noise when the clutch is let out and transmission in neutral and continues to be heard in every gear when clutch is let out and engaged in gear and increases as RPMs increase.
Respectfully,
Eric

The 90, I think is the NV2500 for the manual 5 speed. I think it was 87-91. But that transmission uses 10w30 motor oil. The transfer case uses ATF fluid.

I think you've got a bad input shaft bearing. If the noise happens when the clutch pedal is fully released (foot off the pedal) in neutral, the clutch would be engaged and the input shaft would be turning (and the release bearing would not be turning). If its noisy enough, you'd probably hear it in each gear as the truck moves too.
