No. Two entirely different trucks. Some parts will interchange, but, that list is pretty short.

My '97 Dakota (second gen not first on the Dakota) had a camper shell on it. I measured the beds on both my Dakota and my '96 Ram 1500. Same length but the Dakota is substantially narrower.
