Default AC Bypass Pulley?

Does anybody know where I can find a compressor bypass pulley for a 91 3.9? I’m trying to get it running while my DD is down and the compressor is locked up right. I do not wish to spend $150 on a new compressor right now. I’ve been all over online and can’t find one anywhere for this model. Also needs to be the dual-pulley type as it has 2 drive belts to the crank and alternator. Thanks in advance!

You might be able to just replace the clutch and pulley assembly. After all, even if the compressor is locked up solid, unless the BEARING also locks up, it'll spin just fine.

OTOH, new the clutch/bearing set is almost as much as a whole compressor.

OTGH, a used compressor (you don't even need to vacuum it out or connect the lines!) can be had for like $25 to $30 locally ... Check your local U-Pull-It and see what else they may have that will cross for you.

I think NAPA carries them, you'll have to do a search on it though but I seem to remember seeing it on their site, but that was a few years ago too.
Is the PS pulley too tall that you can't just get the shorter non-AC belt and go around the AC compressor? I haven't looked at one for that reason but since the belt routing shows the non-AC it might work.
I saw one of those bypass pulley setups once on a truck in the JY but forgot to get it. I usually like to pickup stuff like that JIC.

Took a look on RA and they carry both the shorter belt for non-AC and the bypass pulley. It's the same from 1994-2001 according to RA. It's under the Dorman brand name and in the Heat / AC section.

this is for a 91 which is the last of the non magnum, that wont work, I think that a 91 has 2 V belts not a serpentine.

Ayep. Well, all but the very last 91's were V-belt, and uses two belts crank/AC or idler/alternator. I THINK we can find some crank/alternator belts, but have NO idea what the length would be. (Hint: Crank the alternator in, tie a twine around the two pulleys, measure it; crank it back out, tie some twine around, measure it; take a belt about 1/2 between the two, closer to the shorter length. Take two belts that size.)

That SHOULD work, but I don't know that it will.
