Dash Cover
Was thinking about one of these. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Coverlay-Da...frcectupt=true
My dash has the usual cracks.....
Was wondering if anyone has experience with the install and how well it went and looked. Says they can be painted....
I know 89ragged did his, but I think he did it when the entire dash was out of the truck. Hoping to do it without removing the dash.

That's one way to do it, all right.
I've got the padded carpet style on my Dakota. I've also got a truck with a nearly-perfect blue dash to take to my nephew (the dash, not the truck!) to get it recovered with foam and vinyl.
The Coverlay part will be cheaper, of course.

I really hate the thoughts of pulling the complete dash out of the truck. Seems like a lot of labor, and Im concerned what all will break taking 31-32 year old plastic apart.
That is the reason I was looking at these.
