Default 1992 5.2l o2 sensor swap

Hello,

Trying to swap the o2 sensor on a 92 5.2l 4x4 auto truck. (It only has one as far as I can tell).

It's in a terrible spot on top of the Y pipe between the framerail and the pan, no room to get in there. Any ideas for how to get to it?
Drop the Y pipe? Cut a hole in the passenger floorboard?

TIA

Take it to a shop. You probably wont get it out even if you get the right tools to get it. And if the replacement isn't an ntk sensor take it back. ESPECIALLY if you bought a Bosch.

I was able to pop mine free with a special o2 sensor socket that's kinda like a crows foot. I think it was made by OEM tools. Plenty of space. Just some heat and penetrating oil and it broke free. And this was a '93 that spent it's whole life in the salt belt (and on its second frame). Very surprised it came out.
