Default 1996 Dodge Dakota

I have a 1996 Dodge Dakota and I was wondering if I could use the hub assembly and axles off of an older Dakota to switch mine to a 5 lug instead of a 6 lug

I am assuming a couple of things,
1. 4wd
2. front.

Looking on rockauto, the picture shows the axle being 1/32 in shorter. Probably would be ok.
The spline is different 26 vs 32 so you would need the hub.
Looking at the picture, the big difference is the wheel speed sensor.

I would think it would work, but its just a guess on my part.
