thanks for the post i went on a quest and went through all the specs for monroes load adjust shocks and this is wat i found the reason they do not have one for the front is they don't make one with the same size little bar for the bottom bolts but they have a shock that has the same specs just a diff bolt bar so you can either install your old one or modify the one it came with the top stud is the same so no prob there i'm going to look for the rear and i'll get back with everyone o the part #for front coilover monroes is 58270 and as for the answer to why i am wanting these shocks is because i put the overload springs in the front and i have a 440 to put in it haven't done it yet for 2 reasons 1 i was in a bad wreck and just now gettin to it but the real reason is the damn 3.9 will not die!!! ihave put 3" exh 295/50-15 3:73 traction asist out of an explorer (best thing i done 4 wheel disc now) trac bars quick shift and the list goes on and my plan was i'll just keep puttin stuff in it till the 3.9 dies but it won't happen well thats my story hope ya'll enjoyed

Traction Assist is an open diff; the ABS does the torque vectoring. Source: Also owns a 1991 Cougar and is more than a bit aware of the difference between traklok limited slip and traction assist ABS.

You want a traklok diff in there.
