Control arms

Default Control arms

I'm running a 95 slt 4wd 3.9L. Can I use the control arms from a 97 if I change the knuckles out

I tried to replace the uppers on my 87.... The control arm seemed to be the same.... but the balljoint is different. If you do the knuckles, I have no idea, if the rest will work with it, ie. axle, brakes, tie rod ends shocks etc.

87-96 will interchange. 97 is different.

I am aware of this. Mostly wanted to know if there is a way to swap out or retro fit newer suspension.
