Default Gauge cluster going crazy

I seem to have some gauge cluster issues on my new truck. I've only put maybe 300 miles on it since I got it and I'm starting to find the things that need fixing. The cluster usually works just fine, but I noticed once before my lights upgrade that the secondary gauges would all pin to Max while tach and speedo go to zero. Trip odometer doesn't read ever. Odometer doesn't advance while speedo is reading zero, but otherwise counts. It reads about 209k but now I'm not sure if that's accurate at all.

Today while going down the highway around 70mph, all the gauges did the same thing as before, but if I turned off the lights they would go back to normal. Lights on, instantly speedo/tach to zero while all others go max. Lights off, everything normal. Flicked it back and forth several times until just driving with lights on and ignoring cluster. Cluster eventually kicked back to normal and finished the trip with lights on and everything working. This just after tapping into the park lights for my visor LEDs and swapping LEDs into the front housings for headlights and turn signals.

Any ideas?

Check any grounds for the cluster. Sounds like you have a bad one somewhere.
