Default Dually Dakota / Gambler 500 Project

Well, I went and did something today. I picked up a Toyota Dolphin with a short dually axle.

Started demo on it this afternoon. Gonna stick it under my 92 RCLB. I also have a full hemi parts truck laying around. Hemi powered dually Dakota sounds fun.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty excited for this one too.

Here's the truck getting the fancy new axle. She may not look like much, but this was my first truck ever. It was my best friend's truck in HS, then he gave it to me as a wedding present. Almost 300k miles and two accidents later, she's still running like a top. I really love this truck, we've been through a lot. No way I can get rid of it, but it's also not much use anymore. May as well get silly with it.

Part of me wants to Hemi swap it because why not that's just good clean fun right there. Another part of me wants to let that 3.9 run until it quits, but I don't think it ever will quit (so long as shes fed oil ofc). Either way, the axle should be a fairly easy swap and a good project to try before the PA Gambler 500 in Sept. Maybe I'll try the Hemi swap for the next year's event.
