Default Spark plug n wires- 5.2l 318 V8

Hey new here,
im big on maintaining my vehicle and im curious what everyone's thoughts are on getting new spark plug and spark plug wires?
or what everyone does as preventative maintenance besides oil changes
Im about at 120xxxkm original KM 5.2l 318 v8 magnum "tim allen grunts"
newer water pump round 60xxx and ive just recently done the transmission cooler lines at 117xxxkm
(Was going to do filter gasket n adjust bands , but ive got a big if it aint broke dont fix it kinda mentality, especially when it comes to trans)
Ive done oil changes goin im just curious what everyones thoughts are about getting new spark plugs n wires ? Also do i need a 1/4 torque wrench?
spark plugs as long as theyre pre gapped at 0.035 it shouldnt be too hard to do right?
also PSC valve any recommendations on when to replace that?
Just looking for tips on what others have done to keep their kotas running a long time !
thanks a bunch
Danny

My take it on it would be: If you don't know the last time they were changed, it's time to change them. Stick with copper plugs, of whatever brand you prefer. Skip the rare-earth fellers, these engines simply don't like them. (and you end up with mystery misfires) For wires, get some GOOD 8mm (at least) wires. PCV valve should be OEM. (mopar) They actually have the correct flow rate. (and last I checked, they are less than 10 bucks.....)

I second what HeyYou said.

Copper plugs aren't good but for 15,000 to 20,000 miles.

The transmission bands and filter - if you don't keep up on them, you'll DEFINATELY need to replace the transmission! Put that into routine maintenance.

You don't wait until it sighs to a stop to put gas in, do you? Or wait until you faint before you eat? Don't mistreat that truck - the maintenance intervals are there for a REASON.

One more thing - due to age, consider a new O2 sensor. Soonest. I just did O2s, cat, muffler, and tail pipe (including the Y pipe - everything manifold down) and my truck went from about 16MPG to 19MPG (!!!) Don't tell me THAT'S not worth doing!

On the gap - Yah, sure, they're pre-gapped to .035. And Donald Trump and Nancy Pelosi are having a love affair. Check gap on single electrode plugs. ALWAYS. ALWAYS.

Yes.

RockAuto, Amazon, eBay, O'Reilly's, Advance Auto, and yards on car-part.com .

Depends on what you're looking for.
