Default 1st Gen Dakota Y-pipe

Where can I find a Y-pipe ( 'engine pipe'/manifold to cat pipe) for a 3.9 V6 Dakota?
No luck with the usual catalogs I have sourced exhaust parts from in the past.
Thanks,
Pete.
Sorry I forgot to note that it is a 1991 (duh) 3.9.

Well, first you build a time machine ...

Back in November 2018, I picked up the very last Y pipe that MagnaFlow had anywhere in the USA/Canada for a 87-90 (and that was wrong; it was an 87 only! But I was able to have it modded to fit); Walker was already NLA and disappeared earlier in 2018. I just got it on about three weeks ago; MAN it sounds good! But I digress ...

You may have to find someone who can custom make one from your old one.

EDIT: From the parts list I downloaded a while back from the FAQ, it's a Dodge # 52004224 if you go Googling for one as NOS.

I got one last year for my 95 V8 Dakota from Jegs or Summit, I forget which. It is a mandrel bent piece from JBA, & I think the V6 & V8 are the same. It was just under $200 but a nice 2 piece unit. Try either one of those.

S/W theo - this is helpful - I reckoned the pipes would be close to the V8 application by the configuration of the V6 exhaust manifolds - the " 2 piece " assembly with the passenger side exit will make any re-configuration/adaptation of the pipe(s) in my 91 V6 application possible, with a reasonable amount of work.
Thank you very much for the information,
Pete.

I looked at the Jegs and the Walker Y available on RA for the 94. I'd stick with the Walker myself. Considering the cost is less than 1/3rd. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...ion,pipe,10038
This is the only Y pipe for dodge I could find on Jegs https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/31020/10002/-1
Found this on Summit Stainless https://www.summitracing.com/parts/j...e/model/dakota
I don't know that any of them would fit since afaik the 91 was a 3 inch exhaust from the manifold.

I looked at the Walker "y" pipe too, but too many kinks (compression bends) in the pipe, but it will be ok for some.

The 2.5" is way better than teh 1.5 beat up tube that was on there. You can't beat the price and I did the whole thing to tailpipe for less than I was quoted for a CAT in the shop.
