I thought maybe someone would find this interesting. I've talked about my 3.9L to 5.2L swap in the past, but here's a video of my V8 really getting put to use!
I couldn't get the video to attach, so here's a link.
Obviously don't want to ruin my good tires, so I got an extra set of wheels which happened to have worn 31x10.5 tires already on them, which was perfect.
I'm still running my AX15 trans behind the 5.2, and it's held up just fine so far, but I believe that I have the "death flash" right now, with the stock tune, so I'm a little lacking in power. I'm assuming an SCT tune will fix that up, and make it run optimally with my cam too, I just hope I don't blow up the tranny right away.
Inside my engine bay:
I have the fans and shroud from a 2002 Intrepid, which mounted right on without too much trouble. On high speed, they kept my temp right at 188°F during the burnout. (180°F t-stat) Low speed is enough for regular driving and idling though.
