V8 Dakota oil
I have a 5.9 with a 95 5.2 oil pan...... Can someone verify the oil capacity? I thought it would be 5qts with filter.
I poured 5 qts in the engine, on the stand and primed the engine. Now the dipstick appears to be 2qts low.
Trying to verify if the dipstick is off.
FWIW I am using the 2000 ram 5.9 dipstick and tube that came with the motor, Only difference is the 95 dakota 5.2 pan and pickup.
