Default Engine-Transmission install

Just curious, has anyone installed the engine-transmission as one assembly in a first gen. dakota?
Specifically looking for the early (87-90) with a V8 and NV3500 4wd setup.
Thanks for your help.

I've never put one in a Dakota, but that's usually the easiest way. If your truck sits high enough your lift has trouble clearing, I've removed the radiator support in the past on some trucks.

Thanks for the input. I really dont want to remove the core support.... I will probably try it, and if not, unbolt the transmission and put it in from under the truck.
