95 Dodge Dakota 3.9 4x4 SLT turns over will not start. Can spray fuel in carb runs.
I got new computer but no changes. Got it running over weekend. After finding shorted wire to pump. But now same issue. Will not start. I got it running and took to town filled up tank. It would not restart in town but after 20 min was able to crank it drove it home. Now will not start again. Considering new fuel regulator.
This sounds like a heat soak issue. What may be the problem is there is a cracked solder joint somewhere. When it gets hot, the crack expands and opens the circuit. When it cools, the crack closes and completes the circuit. Those can be fun to track down. I notice the truck will start cold but not start hot until it cools off. Are all the plugs in the relay box seated tightly? I ad a '93 for years and I'm trying to remember the layout.
