A/C o-rings
Does anyone know where I can find the exact specifications for the A/C o-rings on. 95, 5.2 L? Inside diameter, outside diameter, and thickness? It looks like I need three sizes. Maybe 1/2 and 3/8 inside diameter and one size in between.
A whole set with spares can be had cheaply enough; RockAuto lists three different brands, and if you take the manufacturer and the part number, you can probably Google for other sellers.
Or do like I did for the few O-rings I needed for my 1988 - I bought a generic O-ring set.

I lost all my R134 over the winter, so I took the o-rings off:
compressor into the condenser
Out of the condenser
Into the evaporator
evaporator into accumulator
Out of the accumulator to compressor
I have ton of o-rings. I put on the size that seemed right but the system won’t hold a vacuum.
The o-ring kit I got from OReillys has 8 sizes. There are two different thicknesses for the 1/2 in ID o-ring.
One website specified #8 and #10 o-rings. I think #8 is just over 1/2 in ID. #10 must be the 5/8. But the kits don’t list the # system and I can’t find the specification for the thickness. I guess I’ll try again guessing which ones fit and don’t leak. Last time I guessed too small.

I have a ziplock bag of about 60 o-rings. None really fit. I managed to get everything connected though. When I started the re-charge I could see that I had a blown compressor hose. The new hose assembly came with o-rings. So here are the dimensions:
Large O-ring. - OD. 0.69 in/ 17.55 mm
- thickness 0.0645 In / 1.62 mm
Small O-ring. - OD. 0.58 in / 14.88 mm
- thickness. 0.0645 in / 1.62 mm
The generic o-ring kits from Autozone and and OReillys don’t have these sizes, but they do have a kit just for a 95 Dakota, Santech MT2507.
