sometimes they will come on once key turns to on and the truck will I’ll fire, other times no lights with key at on position and just cranks. I have ordered a new computer. I’ve also changed all relays, crank sensor, and the pickup plate and distributed cap and rotor just cause I was in there. Would you say computer is bad? Can it be intermittent like that?

It can be.

It can also be an intermittent connection TO the computer. (Matter of fact, the computer problem is most likely a cracked solder joint at the connector for an intermittent like that; or a cracked joint on the board itself.)

What kind of shape is your ASD relay in? It feeds back to the computer that ASD is on; that's also what powers SOME of the computer functions. So a flaky relay, or flaky wiring around it, can cause these same symptoms (logically thinking.)

asd is brand new, and I have gone through the harness and redid the two splices under the power distribution box where the relays are, could it be further down in the harness? And by connector you mean the one that goes directly into the computer right?

Actually, I meant the connector ON the computer board itself. Or a solder joint inside.

There's two sides to each active connector, don't forget.

(It's like checking battery cables - there's one end at the battery, and ANOTHER end somewhere else. BOTH ends need to be checked sometimes.)
