Default Trying to find OEM temp gauge

I've narrowed down my problem as a bad temp gauge in my 1990 Dakota, V6 convertible. I've been searching and can't find OEM version. Any suggestions on where to look are much appreciated.

Any boneyard - grab the whole cluster.

Ideally one laid out like yours is, natch!

Do you have a tach or not?

Ah, good thought! No, no tach on mine.

Hit up car-part.com and see if you can find a whole cluster cheap enough close enough to you.

Make sure it's the non-tach version; the gauges move around a bit.

Also, the two gauges are held in with like two screws; you can pull the dash cover (eight torx head screws), pull the plastic cover (remove the odometer reset by screwing it counter-clockwise and then it's four screws, either 8mm or phillips head), and then the two holding the gauge pair in place (two 8mm IIRC). Pull slightly, and you're golden.

EDIT: Had to tell it SPEEDO to find a good list of possible cluster donors.

You're welcome!

It's wonderful the tools that are out there.

Of course, when I was a much younger guy, I could go to a boneyard and they'd put it on the circuit.

And then they'd get it for me.

And it'd be cheaper.

But then, so was everything else, including me
