Dude.

I don't know what you're smoking, but I'd quit.

Explorer rear ends will have a 70.3mm center bore; Dakotas have a 71.5mm center bore. They're CLOSE, and most Explorer wheels will fit (and the Dakota wheels fit the Explorer as long as they're lug nut centric not hub centric), but ... they're not the same (as anyone who's tried to remove a Mustang or Explorer wheel from a Dakota will vouchsafe for.)

Getting back to traction assist - that wire for the sensor? Is for ABS. Traction Assist is an extension of ABS.

Now, the Explorer could still have been ordered with a TrakLok differential; or a previous owner could have upgraded; but TA <> limited slip differential, so I'd look harder at Explorers WITHOUT the TA button. (I'd also check the tag, and I'd ALSO suggest rebuilding a 20+ year old TrakLok before streeting it myself. But eh; your choice.)

I'm trying to keep correct information.

If that "calls you a liar", well .. maybe you ought to research a bit? Check things out? Maybe, oh, I don't know, learn how to logically think about things?

But your choice.

the most drastic thing that happened to my truck after i installed this re was the fact that the truck would stop cause i didn't realize how under performing the brakes were on the factory dakota brakes
