Default A\C System Restoration

I am replacing most of the A\C components in my 1990 Dakota 3.9 L. I purchased the kit that includes a compressor, drier/accumulator, expansion valve, oil, and gaskets. The gaskets include a small green O-ring, however, I have not found an O-ring anywhere in the system. Does anyone know what this is for? I'm trying to get it right the first time!
Any help would be appreciated.

Just a guess, but maybe the low pressure switch?

That kit fits several different vehicles; I thought it was a left over on my truck.

(That green O-ring was too big for the low pressure switch on my 1988; might be for if the switch is in the thermonic expansion valve instead of on the line, though.)
