1993 dodge Dakota four wheel drive manual transmission
NV2500, or NV3500. Gotta be careful though, I think the full size trucks have the shifter located further back. Or some such. Probably others as well. Moving this to first gen Dak section for ya.
Depends on how much work you want to do. But another NV2500 would fit right in.
A NV3500 off a later V8 will also fit, but you may need to alter transfer case and driveshafts.
There's several others with remote shifters or rear mounted shifters, but if you move out of those that came in Dakotas, you start getting into more and more fab work to make them fit.

I can't find a 1993 transmission no where that's reason I'm asking if possibly any other year or make would work
Try hitting up car-part.com .
And yes, ANY 4x4 NV2500 from a Dakota will fit right in, any year.
The ones from a RAM will need to have the gearshift replaced due to a different location.
Or, just hit up (again) car-part.com where I find three pages(!!) of possible donors.
