95 dakota stake pocket are smaller than most

95 dakota stake pocket are smaller than most
My 95 dakota sport has stake pockets that measure 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 and I would like to use them for tie down points, but i can not find
a stake pocket anchor point that will fit.
any suggestions ? I thought about even making some,,not sure where i would start that build.?

I had these Universal Chrome Anchor Points, 2 Pc. (harborfreight.com) in the back of my truck for a bit.
I then upgraded to something like AmazonSmile: ERICKSON MANUFACTURING - Zinc Plated Pocket Anchor w/Rubber Base Block Stake Pocket Anchor, Bulk (51007): Automotive .
I then removed them and installed the topper.
I'm not sure why you're having problems finding some that fit.
