I have a 1989 dodge Dakota 4x4 with the 3.9L V6 in it, I am having a crank no start issue with it even after replacing the fuel pump. Anyone out there got any words of wisdom? the engine its self will run when gas is poured into the throttle body or when using starter fluid.

 

Did you also replace the fuel filter , inside the frame rail, about where the driver's knees would be above the filter in the cab?

Do you have any fuel pressure? If so, how much?

Do you hear the fuel pump run?
