I had the 46RH rebuilt on my 95 a few months ago. I paid just over $3000. I didn’t look around or negotiate, so that may be high. I’m near Sacramento.
That’s a lot of money, but for me it was worth it. I have put many hours of work into the truck. It looks pretty good, and until recently ran great.
On the other hand, I’m the guy who recently blew a head gasket. Both the heads are cracked, so more $. Oh well. It’s only money, and who really needs a vacation in Hawaii?

I had the machine shop order new head castings. He’ll salvage anything worthwhile from the old heads and put the new ones together.
In the mean time, I have cleaned everything up and ready to put the truck back together. I even sand blasted the intake and exhaust manifolds and painted them with high temp paint. Just waiting on the heads.
