I sent Presision an email asking how much it would cost to do a run. I got my reply this morning.
"The reason we do not offer them now is the tooling is damaged. I looked into remaking it a few years ago and it was cost prohibitive.Since we have gotten more requests for these I will look at it again to see if we can make it work

Well damn, never considered that was the reason! That's...kind of a good thing to hear because it doesn't mean they just stopped doing it purely because of lack of demand. Clearly that was the main impetus but only because it wasn't worth the extra effort to repair tooling. Can't blame them, they can't be a charity, gotta make money. Well, I'll be in line to buy a couple if'n they do make them again...even though they're not OEM quality, maybe with some more care (washing the windows more..lol) than I've given them they'll last longer. I'm sure they're way better than anything I can DIY.

Hey Fellas, I believe this might be what we are looking for?? Not sure we're all talking about the same thing but I'm talking about the part that acts as a wiper seal for the door windows to keep the rain out. See my photo on Post #12 above. I'm not even sure how it installs. Anyway, first things first. Is this the part we have been chasing around?
UPDATE: Actually, these are the inner beltlines. I need outers. Is that what we're talking about?
How does that cracked rubber trim piece attach? Anyone know? Don't want to start tearing into it without having a half a chance to tear into only what I need to tear into.
Your this/not this is actually all one piece, the Beltline. To take it out you need to remove the inner door panel and drop the window down below its lower stop.There are I think 5 or 6 #8 screws along it. That rubber piece attaches to that "Not This" metal piece somehow. Fasteners? Tape?
So to drop the glass below the stops, what's involved? Is it just a matter of removing the stops?
