I知 trying to get everything I need so I can do the v8 swap I have the chance to get a 96 5.2l out a ram and I知 going to use my v6 harness because im keeping my v6 trans I know I will have to splice in 7&8 injectors into the harness the problem I知 having is the ecm which I致e been reading the forums for info on the computer, but what I want to know is will a 1996-2001 ram 5.2l manual computer work for a 96 dakota I read somewhere that it will not work and u have to get the exact year and model of the dakota and if theirs anything else I知 missing can y誕ll let me know

 

Sorry I'm not sure about it. I have a 5.2 auto PCM running the 5.9 in my '93 5-speed, but that's OBD1. For the auto computer all I had to do is ground the park safety switch wire.
