Default 90 V6 no ignition for 5-10 minutes when cold outside

When below 75 degrees or so, there is no spark. Engine cranks, fuel pump comes on with ignition for a second, but no spark from coil wire. Leave ignition on for 3-5 minutes, engine starts and runs. Will run the rest of the day. Next morning, same issue. Connected a replacement distributor, no change. Computer/ECM?

I never heard of anything like that so I clearly have no answers for you. Others may. But I can an definitely see why you would suspect the computer. Wacky and computer are two words for the same thing.
