I'm well known for being chea..er..thrifty. I prefer to save a good part and can sell it to someone looking for it later. Usually cheaper than a new one. Both benefit from that. That said, I think I might pay a glass place to install the new window. Even though a I have a wallet that grunts when I spend a dollar, I'll pay and get it done quick and correctly.

I have they really help when removing/installing glass with the rubber seals. They also help with plastic dash parts that you don't want to mar up with a screwdriver.

 

The link didn't work. I have a set of plastic crow bars for interior body panels that does a decent job. I also have several suction cups from Harbor /freight that do a good job of holding glass. I use them to hold the glass up when I replace a window regulator.

Also, there's apparently some difference between regular cab and club cab...so where ever you get the replacement make sure it's correct.

Steve any suggestions on what glue to use for a 05 dakota rear window,,its glued in and i need to replace
