Default Help me please

I have a few weird things going on with my 4x4 Dakota 1995

1. Whining at 50+mph that does not change with acceleration

2. lack of power when moving from a stopped position kinda feels like your in 3rd on a manual transmission trying to start from a complete stop if that makes sense

3. low transmission fluid and high rpm when shifting. I added trans repair fluid and now it seems to be normal.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated I just paid for new oil IAC etc so not looking to drop a ton of extra cash into this

1. Bearing or rear gears going out.

May not hurt to check down in the intake anyway, see if you see oil pooling in there.

The problem you run into there is, you have the 46RH trans.... so, the first three gears are purely hydraulically controlled. If they ain't workin' right, high probability that it's rebuild time...

Can you pull it down into first gear manually??

Whens the last time you did a fluid/filter change? Likely a band adjustment wouldn't hurt either.

Assume it hasn't been done for a while then.

Even if it has, it sure won't hurt.
