They created a lot of fun...and expense. 91 or greater octane gas, replacing the right rear tire on your Dakota if it didn't have Sure-Grip, various engine/transmission parts if you would wind the engine beyond it's rpm capabilities as the Mopar HP computer had NO rev limiter... I'm sure you get the picture of how expensive this 'toy' could be.
I still have mine, no one wanted it when I sold my Dak so I kept it & put on the stock computer.

I run one on my 93 RCSB with a 5.9 swap. The computer raises the factory RPM cutoff and eliminates the 105 MPH top speed shutdown. You do have to run a minimum 91 octane (as started above). I have a Hughes cam 214/218 @ .050 with a .533/.539 lift, a Mopar M1 intake, Mopar Performance R/T heads, headers, and a 3.91 Suregrip. It makes for a fun little cruiser.
