Default Mopar performance pcm

What kind of performance parts like cam and heads will this support as opposed to a stock pcm?

It's designed to extract a bit more power from an otherwise stock engine. You might be able to get away with a BIT meaner cam, or better flowing heads, but, go to far, and it won't have a clue.

Used to think I wanted one of those. Harder to find than hens teeth. Now that it runs well, I'm OK with it as is.

They created a lot of fun...and expense. 91 or greater octane gas, replacing the right rear tire on your Dakota if it didn't have Sure-Grip, various engine/transmission parts if you would wind the engine beyond it's rpm capabilities as the Mopar HP computer had NO rev limiter... I'm sure you get the picture of how expensive this 'toy' could be.
I still have mine, no one wanted it when I sold my Dak so I kept it & put on the stock computer.

I run one on my 93 RCSB with a 5.9 swap. The computer raises the factory RPM cutoff and eliminates the 105 MPH top speed shutdown. You do have to run a minimum 91 octane (as started above). I have a Hughes cam 214/218 @ .050 with a .533/.539 lift, a Mopar M1 intake, Mopar Performance R/T heads, headers, and a 3.91 Suregrip. It makes for a fun little cruiser.

That's kind of what I want to do with mine except probably stick with the 5.2 that's I'm it. I've had the performance pcm installed for a few years now. I got it pretty cheap. Just wanted to know if it would still work well with similar things to what you have. How hard was it to find a set of those R/T heads? I've done a little looking around and haven't seen much.
