yeah, I’m scratching my head too. Are there any terminals in the socket or are they missing too?

And you're sure you're looking at the Auto Shutdown relay socket?

This is above my pay grade. Seems like someone jumped the system but I don't know how they did it. I'll PM Hey You. He smokes me when it comes to electrical. I'll see if he can jump in on this convo.

94 Should have the relay in the PDC under the hood. That's what supplies power to the coil and injectors. Without it, the engine shouldn't start, and the fuel pump shouldn't run.... but, if it starts and runs...... Anybody do any hacking on the wiring under the hood? Or under the dash?

Getting any codes? Check engine lite on?

No mods I know about, it was my Dad's truck. No dash codes, no engine light. Thanks. Baffled.

Weird. I remember that Ralph used to say one of the relays next to the ASD is the same relay and can be swapped as a test. If you have a relay next to the open slot that looks like it would fit, try swapping it and see what happens???
I hate to question you but does the inside PDC box top have the diagram?

Weird thing in my 94 FSM the picture has the wiper washer in front of the PDC not behind it near the firewall. There was no picture of the PDC layout when I searched ASD.

had to be. Welcome to the idiots club. We’re all members. Take you AC relay if you have one and switch it out with your ASD relay. See what happens.
