Exclamation Fuel/running/restart issue 1989 Dakota

Hello to anyone reading hope you have a good day, sincerely

I have a 1989 Dodge Dakota, and I have been doing great , drove as a daily commuter (100 miles)

All of a sudden it wouldn't start after driving, warm engine (it cranks though), if I let it set for an hour it would restart,

I chneged the fuel pump and fuel filter, no change,

what are some places to check next?, thank you for any assistance

I had this issue as well, I replaced the sensor for the coolant temp. It seems to have helped to get it restarted, however it sometimes takes a few seconds of cranking for it to actually start when the engine is warm. I'm not 100% sure if this was the problem, but I haven't had any issues with it since I replaced it.
