With the electrician's delay, the stucco guys moved in and took over. It's looking more and more like a construction site again.

The ridge cap has been completed, and the electricians are here wiring the building. They should be done by the end of tomorrow. Yay!

Electrician was supposed to start last Monday, so yes, they were delayed. The breaker panel and all of the outlet boxes are in, and a lot of wire has been pulled. I am having speaker wire routed to each corner near the ceiling, and two hard wired smart smoke detectors installed.

Be sure the speaker wire stays away from the electric stuff, else you end up with that lovely 60 cycle hum.

Which electrical stuff does it need to avoid? Things with electrical motors running, or other wiring? I would hope the electrician would be aware enough to avoid any issues like that.

Any electrical wiring. Should run the speaker wires separate from the rest. At least a foot away, (which is probably overkill.... but, if some is good, too much should be just enough.) You would think the electrician would be aware of that, but.... just in case....

We passed the inspection this morning. The stucco crew is coming tomorrow. Drywall is arriving on Thursday. Hopefully the insulation will go in this week. It's going to be busy around here this week! The electrician should also be back to finish the wiring (rough electrical was signed off).

Was it just the one guy?! That is pretty darn quick work for one day to get all of that tar paper, insulation (Taped) and lath on and ready for stucco! It looks good too.
