Default 1993 dakota tachometer not working

Hey I have a 1993 dodge Dakota and recently i got a flat tire, I drove on it for maybe 1/8th of a mile. Soon after that my tachometer started intermediately working, about two days ago it stopped working completely. The truck runs and drive perfectly fine I just don’t know my RPM’s. Does anyone know why and what I would have to do to fix it? Thanks!

Check the wiring diagrams here, see where the tach gets its feed from, (I believe its from the PCM on yours......) If the PCM wasn't getting a reading, the truck wouldn't run. Likely just a wiring or cluster issue.

Hey HY! I’m still around and read all the new posts. Just been quiet because there hasn’t been anything wrong with my truck in a long time. But I always like reading your stuff. So howdy!
